Christmas for so many is more than most of us can do alone, but if everyone gives a little then we can do it. See below.

 

November 1, 2014.  A shift is coming. It has been coming for generations. Something good is coming that you don't expect. It's something you don't deserve. You're wondering "Why?" It is coming because of My grace. Favor is coming your way. This favor is like that which happened with Israel (Jacob) prophesying and blessing two of his grandsons, Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh. Israel crossed his arms and put the right hand of blessing on Ephraim the youngest, even though tradition pre-determined his blessing the oldest. Ephraim and Manasseh were included in Israel's history because of Joseph. 

 

Genesis 48:20 (NASB) "He blessed them that day, saying, "By you Israel will pronounce blessing, saying, 'May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh!'" Thus he put Ephraim before Manasseh." Bev Robinson

November 1, 2014. Inspire your offspring to love learning. Take them to interesting and mentally challenging places. Give rewards for learning and give much recognition and significance to gaining knowledge and understanding. These offspring of yours are like precious jewels, entrusted to you by the Lord for you to care for and nurture. Let your sons grow up with a view to achievement and gain in the Lord and in the world. Let them be stretched from the inside in the spirit, mind, will and emotions and not just in the physical opportunities of life.

 

Psalm 144:12 (NASB) "Let our sons in their youth be as grown-up plants, and our daughters as corner pillars fashioned as for a palace."  Ras Robinson

 New shirts, new water bottles and good food brought lots of smiles to the faces of the sponsored children at Christmas last year. It was all provided by FCM Partners, Sponsors and Friends. Without your gifts, most of the children would not have received a gift at all. For some, it was the first gift of any kind they ever received. Most had never received a brand new, never before worn, piece of clothing. The joy was overflowing when they saw the new shirts.

 

Thank you to those who have sent donations to provide for them again this year. Can you imagine what it takes to provide Christmas gifts and food for so many?  Impossible for most of us, but if we all chip in a little, together we can bless many. Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot. 

Ministry to Children -- For special needs -- Any amount helps. 
Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
