Sponsoring a child makes a life-changing difference in that child's life. See below.

October 29, 2014. It isn't happening in the way you have wanted, but I am here to help. If you won't now take things into your own hands but instead get yourself into a place of rest, you will soon overcome. I know you want to see results. But take the time to get in My Word. Immerse yourself. Rely and trust completely in Me and I will show you exactly what to do.  Victory is ahead, but don't get ahead of Me and take it on yourself. Blessings and victory are ahead.

Psalm 37:3-5 (NASB) "Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it." Bev Robinson

October 29, 2014. You are becoming stronger and stronger. The tests and trials give you strength as My reward for overcoming. With Me, nothing can stop you. All things have been and will remain possible and nothing is impossible to you. The second reward to you is My gift of peace. I am the Prince of Peace living inside you. Your peace is inclusive of your surroundings and also a gift to your family and friends. In this peace, I extend grace and mercy. Give it freely to all. In this, you spread and radiate My glory.

Psalm 29:11 (NLT) "The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace." Ras Robinson

A Word from Ras Robinson

Dear Partners, Sponsors and Friends,

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

May I share a story I rarely tell?  When I was a child, my parents and I lived in rural Mississippi. Our nearest town was Ovett, which was about ten miles from our home. We had no motorized transportation. I remember riding to Ovett with my father when I was about eight years old in a horse drawn wagon. This particular time we took some shelled yellow corn to be milled into corn meal for my Mama's cornbread and other uses.

Until that day I had never seen or shopped in a general store. My eyes were wide and searching all the new things I was seeing. I noticed a hatchet on a shelf. I picked it up and admired it while Papa was in another part of the store. I chose to put the hatchet in my overalls pocket and took it outside and hid it in our wagon.

As we left Ovett in our wagon, Papa saw the hatchet and stopped the wagon. He asked me how and where I had gotten it. Then he told me I had to return it and apologize to Mr. Dennis, the store owner, a wonderful man of Lebanese descent. I panicked at the thought of having to confess my sin, repent to Mr. Dennis and return the hatchet. I was broken and humiliated. Papa never mentioned it again. He didn't need to.

Ministry to Children

Photo of the Day

Charity is 13 years and in 7th grade. It was hard, but her parents managed to send her to school through 6th grade. Beginning with 7th grade, the cost for school goes up significantly and many poor families are not able to pay the expenses. The children have no choice but to quit school at that time.

As a new school year approached, Charity's father told her he could not pay the fees for her to go to school this year so she could not go. Charity prayed and prayed and prayed. She believed God would hear her prayers and make a way for her. Then came the day her pastor gave her the news that she had been sponsored. She would be able to go to school! She was so excited. God heard her prayer and said "yes." She ran home to tell her parents. Her mother said she was jumping with joy, crying and laughing at the same time -- announcing that God heard her prayer.

Thank you, Sponsors, Partners and Friends who were used by God to answer the prayers of this precious one.  If you've ever wondered if sponsoring a poor child in a foreign country really makes a difference, we can tell you absolutely it does. For children like Charity, it is not only a dream come true, it opens a world of possibilities for her future. You can make a life changing difference in a young life with your sponsorship. Go to Sponsor a Child.

Thank you to those who have sent donations to provide Christmas for the sponsored children and their siblings. Charity (see above) has two little sisters, ages 4 and 2. They will not have Christmas unless someone helps. It is our desire to provide gifts for all those children and some extra food for the family. Can you imagine what it takes to do that for over 1000 children?  You can help make that possible. Go to Christmas for Children.
