October 16, 2014. The devil has been revealed and overplayed his hand. You see it don't you? Don't linger one more moment in his deception and power. He has kept you in this spot for long enough. I have made provision for you to jump up a notch. I propel you from the ridiculous to the sublime. I have infused you with My power and presence to do exactly that. Go for it. Jump up with no guilt. Beloved I have great things ahead for you to accomplish and you need a jump start.

October 16, 2014. Birds singing their songs stir up joy in us. I was returning to our hotel from a nearby restaurant, bringing my wife a cup of coffee. I opened the car door to hear a delightful chorus of singing birds. They were intent and loud. I sang with them to my King. Joy filled our room and our hearts as we sang and danced. What a way to start the day! Today bring your songs joyfully as you enter the courts of the Lord. Come into His presence singing to the Lord of Heaven's Armies.

 

Psalm 84:2-4 (NLT) "I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O LORD of Heaven's Armies, my King and my God!  What joy for those who can live in your house, always singing your praises."  Ras Robinson

Christmas. What a wonderful time to show your love for Jesus by giving to little children who have nothing. The little boy in this photo is holding tightly to the only gift he received for Christmas. With that gift, he was also given food and told about the love Jesus has for him. Without the help of our Partners, Sponsors and Friends, he would have received nothing. It is very possible that he would not even have had anything to eat all day. Instead he received a special gift just for him and a good meal.

 

We often see tears and sometimes the children ask, "Is this really for me?" Sometimes the smallest ones don't even know what to do with it, but it does not take much coaching to show them. What joy it is to see the excited eyes and hear the squeals of delight over just one gift that belongs only to them. The families are often blessed with bags of food to take home.


 Your gifts make possible a lot of joy. Thank you for blessing the children. We hope it blesses you to know that you bring such joy to a child and a very poor family. 

 

To give to this fund for Christmas for the Children, go to Christmas for Children. Your donations for Christmas need to be received before Thanksgiving so we can get them to the pastors and they can purchase the gifts.

Become A Child's Sponsor - $30 a month per child      

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot. 

Ministry to Children -- For special needs -- Any amount helps. 
Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
