Photo of the Day

A loaf of bread for a Christmas present? It may seem a little strange for us, but for a family with no food, it is a special treat. At Christmas some families cry with joy when they receive a roasted chicken other treats for a Christmas meal. Some have told us it was the first time they ever had anything special to eat on Christmas.
It is not too early to begin thinking about Christmas for very poor families in the Philippines. It is our desire again this year to give a gift to each sponsored child God has given us and that child's siblings, especially the youngest ones. We also desire to give food to each family. You have been so generous to give to this each year. We are thankful for you.
