September 4, 2014. The challenge before you can be met. It can be even overcome and be overcome easily, that is if your thinking and emotions are in the right position. That right position is in Me. When you first put your trust in Me your position changed from that of being in the world to that of being in Me. You forget from time to time, especially if there is a surprise challenge. Satan thrives on surprises. He lurks in hiding until he is least suspected. Remember you are safe in Me.
John 15:4-5 (NLT) "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. September 4, 2014. In the last few months, four precious Christian friends and brothers were called home to be with the Lord in Heaven. This was not easy for us who loved them so much. Earth is not our permanent home. We believers are Heaven bound. While here, it is so important to keep your mind on heavenly places. Think often of the rewards, the joys and continual presence of the Lord that awaits you. This trouble and distress will be left behind when God calls you home to Heaven.

Caring for Orphans and Widows
"I have called you to build and operate ten homes for widows and orphans in the Philippine Islands"
GOD'S WORD ON THIS VISION: Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27 (NLT)
During the first week of October 2013 I was in the mountains of Colorado recovering from a heart procedure. I ask the Lord, "Is there anything you want me to do in the Philippines that I have not yet done?" He immediately replied, "I want you to build 10 homes in the Philippine Islands for the purpose of "Caring for Orphans and Widows." Some of the orphans will be chosen from among the 900 children you already care for and others will be among the 10,000 children I am giving you. The children now live on city dumpsites, under bridges and some sleep on pieces of cardboard on sidewalks beside city streets.
The Philippine widows will be chosen based on their love for children, their character qualities and abilities. They will care for the children and operate the homes in exchange for their room and board with a small stipend of blessing for them.
The oversight will be with the Board of Directors of Fullness in Christ Ministries and with an Advisory Board of Filipino Pastors and Business and Governmental Persons.

Children who live on the streets have a rough life. In the Philippines it is really hard for them. Pastor Robert Cuenca and his wife Sarah have a special love for them. They bought an old building and repaired it to use as a "drop-in center" where the street kids can come and be safe. They get food to eat, clean clothes to change into and lots of love. The kids are mostly scavengers. Some will go to school if someone will help them and encourage them. What a joy to be able to watch the changes in them over time. Thank you for your part in giving these children a chance at a new life.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
