August 30, 2014. Be careful. Be on guard concerning what your mind is thinking. Don't let your thinking be critical or judgmental. This is not good for you or anyone else. You do not know all that is going on. Beloved, don't assess things like you know. Your assignment is to bless and curse not. Your assignment is to believe the best. When you stay within these boundaries, good arises, fills the air, overflows and pours back over you and everyone around you. Continue believing and speaking blessings and watch it happen.

August 30, 2014. You are living on the high road. The low road looks easier and perhaps more expedient, but it is not for you. You can rightfully feel good about serving Christ in this way. By this I mean, walk circumspectly according to the belief system based in Him. Keep your conscience clean and pure and live accordingly. This is the Christian life in a nutshell. You will teach yourself to be a good citizen of the kingdom of God. Living righteously will make you a good example to others.

 

Romans 14:16-18 (NIV) "Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men."  Ras Robinson 

 

Here are some notes received this week from some of our sponsored children who live at a large garbage dump in the Philippines. Being sponsored is giving them opportunities beyond their dreams. Perhaps more important is that they know someone cares and knows they are worth an investment. We hope the notes below bless you as they have us.

John Lawrence - Hi Ate Kathy and Sponsor, How are you. About me I am okay after I have cough, many got sick in our school because the climate is very hot then suddenly it rains. I am healed now. Thank you so much for your prayers, for I am learning many things in school now. I love to play but I don't neglect my studies.

 

Hazel Mae - Dear Ate Kathy and my Sponsor, Greetings from Garbage Dump Site!!! Just want to tell you that I thank the Lord for I am healed now after a one week of getting sick. My mother bought medicine for me. Even if I was absent in school my teacher still admire me because I can still catch up with the lessons. I know you are praying for me, so do continue pray for my parents too that they will have good health.

I am very happy that I can now buy regularly my needs in school unlike before, I always afraid to go to class because our teacher will ask me why I can't buy my requirements, but now that you sponsor me, the staff in our church will immediately buy my requests. Aracely - Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, My mother is really happy that I was favored to be sponsored. She is always regular in Group Savings with other parents in Garbage Dump Site that our pastor is teaching too while we have our feeding every Saturday separately. Sometimes they have problems of debts because if mother has little income from the garbage, she could not pay the rice we credit from the store. Please pray that they can have more income.

 

Princess Camille - Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, I am very happy that my mother is now healed, thank you for your prayers. We are starting to save money now in our Kids Group Savings and I am the treasurer. Please pray for my studies, especially Math. Thank you and love you too.
