Grow your church by ministering to poor children? Absolutely. Most of our churches in the Philippines grow rapidly when they minister to the poor. See one below.

August 23, 2014. A turning of affection is in the air. This isn't a bad thing. Quite the contrary. It is a very good thing. There is more room for affection than there is a supply of affection. The supply doesn't run out. The more love is given the more love is in the pipe line. It can't run out when it is from Me and this is from Me. It isn't one or the other it is both/and. Soak it up when you see it. Let it be ointment to your being.

August 23, 2014. A Jerusalem is set aside for you during your battles and pain. Times are hard.  But comfort is on the way as I have promised. The devil has stepped up the cadence of his attacks to kill, steal and destroy your good life and destiny. He knows his time is running out. I have sent myriads of warrior angels to defend and protect you. It is impossible for them to fail. Rest assured as you begin singing victory songs, clapping your hands and raising your arms in victory. You have overcome.

Pastors Joseph and Suzanne Almonte pastor Fullness in Christ Jesus Ministries in Jasaan, a city in the southern Philippines (church pictured above). Their work with children has been recognized by the Philippine Department of Social Welfare which has requested their help to care for the poorest children in the city. Suzanne wrote us yesterday that they now have 120 children attending their church. Wow! Let's talk about an exciting Children's Church! Many of the children really need a sponsor. Right now, we only sponsor 20 children in this church. The harvest in ripe and plentiful. Are you willing to be a laborer in this field? Maybe you could sponsor one or more of the children or perhaps God has put it on your heart to help feed these beautiful hungry little children. Jesus said when we care for the least, we care for Him. These children need a helping hand. Could you be that one to help?

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
