Being sponsored means more to a child than most of us could imagine. Read below about Aracely and how being sponsored is affecting her life. Ask God about sponsoring such a child and changing a life..

July 29, 2014. Listen to Me. Have any thoughts turned to worry? Are you losing sleep? Are even your everyday activities causing you some worry when you get quiet? These attitudes will rob you from receiving My promises. Your worries can hinder and cause you to miss much that is stored up for you. All My promises are yes, but don't let your receiving be no without even realizing it. Don't let what is going on deep within your mind hinder your faith. Beloved, worry can cause the nos to override the yeses.

Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) "Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed."  Bev Robinson

July 29, 2014. The Lord is calling you to high places. There you will eat from His table. Should you decide to accept My offer today, you will be joining the high council of God. All of your spiritual heroes will be there. Can you imagine the food, wine and peaceful fellowship? The Lord often dines with His most chosen, many of which are your heroes in the faith. First, be thankful for your leaders and pray often for them. Decide to obey the invitation from Paul to be like him, receiving long-lasting peace in your heart.

Philippians 4:9 (NASB) "The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." 2 Samuel 22:34 (NASB)"He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me on my high places." Ras  Robinson

Ministry to Children

Photo of the Day

Aracely (see inset above) is 11 years old. She lives with her widowed mother, 3 siblings and several others in one small room at a large city garbage dump. Her mother is in the photo above - the lady with the red bandana covering her face. The family gathers garbage that can be sold to recycling centers. It almost provides for their food each day, but little else. If it rains hard, they cannot work in the garbage dump and there is no income and no food. Aracely wants so much to get an education. She knows it is the only way she will have a better future, but education is just too expensive and is out of reach for her. She has now been sponsored by FCM and is preparing for a good future. Thank you Sponsors, Partners and Friends.

Here is a recent note from Aracely:

Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy,  It is very hard when it is raining because we could not have income from the garbage. After school I help my mother find some plastic to sell so we can buy our rice for food. I start to work at 8 in the evening and finish at 10 p.m. for this is the time the garbage trucks will dump the city garbage. When it is raining we could not work in the garbage. When the weather is good at least I can sometimes earn about one hundred pesos (about $2.50) a night. I use it for our food. Please pray that it will not rain much  this time. We also need rain for plants to grow, but it is not good if it is daily and weeks because we are much affected. We thank and praise the Lord because FCM pays requirements in school. Thank you very much and God bless you,  Aracely
