Aracely is 11 years old and so thankful to be sponsored. She looks forward to going to school and having a better future. See below.

July 28, 2014. Something happened that you have been expecting for a long time. You're not specifically prepared, but it won't upset your progress. I will show you what to do as you go along. I will bring to remembrance how I handled similar difficult and challenging situations. There will be times you will know almost instantly. You will have learned through challenges already experienced throughout life. Stay abreast of the situation and it will not be the problem that it could be. If you lag behind it will definitely be a problem.

Ephesians 6:18 (NASB) " With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,"  Bev Robinson

July 28, 2014. You need to settle down. Fretting and worrying is useless. Finally, at the end of the day, you found yourself ready for prayer. I am the good Father that people dream of having. You have Me as a devoted and generous parent. Think on these things of My goodness and forget about the fretting and worrying. You are wasting your time mulling over things over which you have no control. Turn it all over to Me. In doing so, you will begin to feel My wholeness which will settle you down.

Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) "Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life."  Ras  Robinson

Ministry to Children

Photo of the Day

Aracely (see inset above) is 11 years old. She lives with her widowed mother, 3 siblings and several others in one small room at a large city garbage dump. Her mother is in the photo above - the lady with the red bandana covering her face. The family gathers garbage that can be sold to recycling centers. It almost provides for their food each day, but little else. If it rains hard, they cannot work in the garbage dump and there is no income and no food. Aracely wants so much to get an education. She knows it is the only way she will have a better future, but education is just too expensive and is out of reach for her. She has now been sponsored by FCM and is preparing for a good future. Thank you Sponsors, Partners and Friends.

Here is a recent note from Aracely:

Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy,  It is very hard when it is raining because we could not have income from the garbage. After school I help my mother find some plastic to sell so we can buy our rice for food. I start to work at 8 in the evening and finish at 10 p.m. for this is the time the garbage trucks will dump the city garbage. When it is raining we could not work in the garbage. When the weather is good at least I can sometimes earn about one hundred pesos (about $2.50) a night. I use it for our food. Please pray that it will not rain much  this time. We also need rain for plants to grow, but it is not good if it is daily and weeks because we are much affected. We thank and praise the Lord because FCM pays requirements in school. Thank you very much and God bless you,  Aracely
