"We are healthy now and no longer hungry and sleepy during classes," wrote a an 8 year old boy, small for his age. He was expressing gratitude to his sponsor for providing food for him. See below. 

 

July 24, 2014. I have given you instructions. Don't dilly-dally with other suggestions. Stay with the original word I gave you. It is okay to listen to others, but don't let it override what I have already told you. The instructions have become confused in your thinking. Go back to the beginning. Investigate thoroughly what I said. Discard all other words that have not come in line with the original instructions. Walk in innocence, not with accusations. Yes, I will give further words, but they will not interfere with the first word I gave you.

July 24, 2014. You can have Abraham's faith. I showed Abraham what was, to him totally impossible. Sarah and he were aged beyond child-bearing age. But I took Abraham outside and showed him the stars in the heavens and told him this would be the number of his descendants. This was not so, but it was so by faith. Abraham believed in the Lord. At that moment, there became no impossibilities. Your own faith in the Lord unlocks the doors to your impossibilities. Right now you are facing a huge impossibility. Only believe and obey!

 

Genesis 15:5-6 (NASB) "And He took him outside and said, "Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be. Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness."  Ras Robinson 

 

A Word from Ras Robinson

 

Each Wednesday, I get a report showing the names of all those who have given to FCM during the previous week.  I read each name and thank the Lord for the person, family, church or business who gave. Then, after thanking God, I pray for each and every person, family, church or business. I count all this to be a privilege and an honor that God gives me personally to pray for YOU.  Ras Robinson

This is "Lucky Dave," age 8, one of our sponsored children in the Philippines. He and his sister, Biana Lou (also sponsored), live at a garbage dump where they scavenge for their needs. They are excited to be sponsored so they can go to school, but what really makes them happy is the food provided for them.

 

  Here is a note we recently received from Lucky Dave:

My sister Biana Lou and I were so grateful to our sponsor for the foods every day. We are healthy now and no longer hungry and sleepy during classes. We hope that you will continue to help us till we succeed. Thank you my dear sponsor.

 

Here is a note from his sister, Biana Lou, age 11: 

Thank you sponsor for the foods in the Kids Freedom Center every day. We are now healthy and we have good grades, not like before (when) we go to school even without foods to eat because my father is jobless and my mother only picks up fire woods along the sea shore to sell and buy foods. Now, we are no longer sleepy during classes because of hunger and we are not sickly any more.  

 

Our goal is to make sure every child sponsored by FCM has a good breakfast and lunch every school day and a good healthy meal on the weekend. It is you, Sponsors, Partners and Friends, who make it possible. Consider giving a generous gift today to help feed the hungry children like Lucky Dave and Biana Lou in the Philippines.
