June 27, 2014. Thing after thing has happened that you thought would never happen. These have caused fear. What bad thing can happen next? You have dread taking over. Right now it is rattling around in your mind. Get these hurtful fears up and out of you. Get in the Scriptures and displace the bad thoughts. You need a good dose of faith. The way you get it is to get in My Word and see and listen to My words. Faith comes through My Word and words. Let faith displace the fear.

June 27, 2014. Frustration and distress are not your friends. You want peace and not stress. Sometimes when you pray, it is as if God is asleep. Now you worry and almost wring your hands from frustration. The Lord says, "You are near the end of your ordeal. I have allowed this malady to come upon you. You have been leaning on yourself for the answers and comfort you need. That will never work for you. Repent now and get back to total dependence upon every word of God. Try Me."

The boy thanking God for the food has known what real hunger is like. Too often there was little or no food in their house for the family of 5 people. He is thankful for the food you provide. When you give to "Food for Learning," you make it possible to put food on the plates for hungry children.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
