Children from very poor homes in the Philippines are excited as they go to school this week. They could not go if it were not for their sponsors. See below.
June 6, 2014. I have opened the door. I have opened the door wide open. There is no room for doubt that the door is wide open. Now walk through it. Don't look back and wonder, like Eve, if I really said this. You can only make room for doubt if you entertain whether or not I said this. The devil is sitting right at the door of your heart and mind watching to see if you have doubt. If he senses it, he will rush up and cloud your heart and mind. Walk through the door without looking back.
James 1:6-8 (NASB) "But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." Bev Robinson
June 6, 2014. As God the Father, I declare My father heart is stirred for the well keeping of widows and orphans. That tender spot in your heart for widows and orphans causes My grace to flow toward you from My throne. Keep it up. I have found you willing and able to love and care for these special ones. You hurt with them. I have gathered your tears in a bottle as a memento of and for your good works in this regard. Do all that is within your heart to do.

Off to school! These children in the Philippines have finished a nice bowl of oatmeal at the church and are now headed off to school. They would not be going to school and would not have had breakfast if they were not sponsored. They come from very poor homes with few, perhaps no, opportunities for a good future. Being sponsored has changed all that for them. They are thankful and excited that they can go to school.
You can change the life of a child and most likely an entire family. If you have desired to make a definite and eternal impact on the life of a child, you can. For only $30 a month per child, you can sponsor a child and make a difference.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
