May 17, 2014. You amaze Me. You bring such delight to My heart with your deep hunger for My written Word. What especially delights Me is your hunger for the integrity and excellence of the Scriptures. To some extent you are like the Bereans in the time of the Apostle Paul. They daily opened the Word and took the truth there to be the bedrock against which any current teachings of their day were tested. I want you to be eager for hearing the word followed by examination against the Scriptures.

    Mark wants everyone to know about the awards he and his sisters have earned in school. He is very proud of those awards. We are also proud of Mark. It has been a hard year. His family lost everything, including their house in the earthquake last October. Then came the super typhoon and made things even worse. Children like Mark need a helping hand. They have the potential to be successful. They just need a little help and encouragement.

A new school year begins the first week of June. FCM has added a number of "earthquake victims" to the list of sponsored children for the new school year. Some lost their parents. Almost all of them lost their homes and everything they owned. Pastors have written to say there are many children who will not be in school this year unless they have some help. Would you like to help one or more of these children?  

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot.
