FCM has added a number of children victimized by the earthquake and typhoons last fall to the list of sponsored children for this school year. Would you like to help one or more of them? See below.
May 14, 2014. Don't let discouragement set itself up inside you. It is inevitable that discouraging thoughts will come. Satan and his demons see to that. But you can do something about them setting a nest in your mind. Take all of the negative, disgruntled, restless, disappointing thoughts captive. Then cast them away from you as far as the east is from the west. I have given you that authority. Use it. Don't let a single one hide. Don't entertain the thought that they may come back. Beloved, entertaining that thought gives them an open door to return.

May 14, 2014. You never need hide your discouragement from Me. You and I are one even as Jesus, the Holy Spirit and Father are one. You are made in our image you know. But sometimes you are tired and have a day of disappointments. Today stop and think about your countless blessings, one by one. When you get to the bottom of the list, you will want to shout. So, shout your heart out. We understand and love you so dearly.

Last fall the earthquake, followed by the strongest typhoon is recorded history, caused much damage and loss of life and property in the Philippines. Many people of all ages were displaced and have been living in tents and other temporary shelters. In some areas, the recovery is sure but slow. A new school year begins the first week of June and for many it is an opportunity for a new beginning for their lives. FCM has added a number of "earthquake victims" to the list of sponsored children for the new school year. Some lost parents. Almost all of them lost their homes and everything they owned. Pastors have written to say there are many children who will not be in school this year unless they have some help. Would you like to help one or more of these children?
Give to Food for Learning -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot.
