Baptism in a cold mountain river in the Philippines. In this, and other places affected last fall by earthquakes and typhoons, many new believers have come to Christ. Some churches have more than doubled in attendance. Sponsoring children of poor families opens a door for Christ to be shared. It is common that not long after a child is sponsored, the family will be saved, baptized and discipled. In the region affected by the recent disasters, many children desperately need help. Sponsoring children is life-changing for them and for their families -- for now and for eternity.
If you have considered sponsoring one or more children, now is the time. A new school year begins the first week of June and so many children need our help. Would you pray and ask if God will have you be part of the transformation of lives and ultimately of a nation?
