April 29, 2014. Many are called but few are chosen. I am looking for those who will not turn tail and run away when times get difficult. You are such a one. While suffering from the persecution by his own people, Paul chose to stay in Rome at his own expense. Why? So he would open access to the Romans without hindrance and with all openness. So many around you have never heard the simple gospel truth about salvation, healing and deliverance. Like Paul, you will teach, preach and reach the lost. Do this while loving your neighbors as yourself. Selah.

 This week is Vacation Bible School for many of our children in the Philippines. In this photo Ronalyn, one of our older sponsored youth is teaching the younger ones. We have sponsored Ronalyn for several years, starting not long after her parents were killed by terrorists during a horrible massacre. Ronalyn and her sister, both very young, hid and were spared during the massacre. It has been a joy to watch the two girls grow up into beautiful young women, full of God's Spirit. Being sponsored children has been life-changing for them, just as it has for many others. 

If you have considered sponsoring one or more children, now is the time. A new school year begins the first week of June and so many children need our help. Would you pray and ask if God will have you be part of the transformation of lives and ultimately of a nation? 

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot.
