April 26, 2014. There are very few individuals that I want you to pay attention to all they say and do. This list starts with Me, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Watch everything We do and copy it, live it. The Apostle Paul exhorts believers to be like him and with good reason. We approve of this as he has asked. I tell you to search very carefully until you find another one or two. Once you have them in your gaze, seek to know everything about them, especially what they believe and practice. Mimic those.

2 Peter 1:19 (NIV) "And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." Ras Robinson

 We are proud of these FCM sponsored children who have completed another year of school. Here they enjoy a nutritious meal of chicken, rice and fruit after Saturday morning Children's Church. Thank you for helping to make good things possible for them. 

How is sponsoring with FCM different?

Some ask how we are different from other ministries and groups that sponsor children in poor locations around the world. Our emphasis on education is one. God has put it on our hearts that education is a must if the child is to break the cycle of poverty.  Another is the importance placed on spiritual growth and discipleship for the children and the requirement that every child is cared for by a local pastor. Another is the personal interest and input we have in each child. 

If you have considered sponsoring one or more children, now is the time. A new school year begins the first week of June and so many children need our help. Would you pray and ask if God will have you be part of the transformation of lives and ultimately of a nation? 

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot.
