Uniforms:

Get your uniform compliant t-shirts for only $15.00 Wear them every day of the week! Our best sellers are crew neck and v-neck t-shirts, and we've just received a shipment. Students need to be in full compliance with the uniform code by Sept. 2, 2014. Please check the school uniform policy at http://palmettohighptsa.org/pdfs/14-15/uniform_policy.pdf. Our PTSA School Store is the preferred vendor. Welcome back, parents, to a great 2014 - 2015 school year!  The PTSA packages were distributed this week.  Please take time to read them as they contain valuable information.  Be sure to join this year:

Payment can be via PayPal or cash / check (checks payable to "MPSH PTSA").

The Volunteer Process:

In order to be a volunteer in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, you must fill out an on-line Volunteer Registration. You will need to re-register each year to become a volunteer or mentor.

(1) If you have successfully logged on to the "Parent Portal" you can click on the Services/Sites tab and then click "Be a School Volunteer!" in the "My Services" section.

(2) If you cannot log into the "Parent Portal" or if your spouse also wants to register as a volunteer, you can use the "Community Portal." Use the following link:

http://myportal.dadeschools.lUet/community/. This will require you to set up a username and password before you are able to register as a volunteer.

(3) Once you're approved, you must bring a copy of your driver's license to Ms. Maggio in the school Attendance Office to complete the registration procedure. (When online, look for a message that appears at the bottom of the screen showing the status of your request to volunteer).

To work at multiple schools, indicate all the schools when it pops up during registration. During the online process, there will be a section to indicate what level volunteer you are requesting. Level 1 Volunteers do not need to be fingerprinted. Level 2 Volunteers need to be fingerprinted every 5 years.
