Olympic Gold Medalists teach future swim champions
Swimmers ages ten and under from twelve local YMCA swim teams will learn what it takes to earn an Olympic gold medal in a special swim clinic with U.S. Olympic champions at the Meriden YMCA
Meriden, CT - February 12, 2015  - On Sunday February 15th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. select swimmers from the YMCA Yankee Cluster Swim League will be coached by Olympic Gold medal winners Jason Lezak and Kim Vandenberg at the Mutual of Omaha Break Out Swim Clinic at the Meriden YMCA.

Swimmers will learn techniques to achieve a champion swimming performance, race with the athletes, and have a chance to ask questions about their training and their life.

"I am so excited for my seven year old daughter Stephanie to have this opportunity. That is just incredible that she will have a chance to meet and swim with olympic champions!,"said Stephanie's mom, Jennifer O'Neal.

"The Meriden YMCA Seals are thrilled to be hosting this event. We hope all of the swimmers learn something new from this clinic that inspires them to continue to work hard, improve their swimming and achieve their goals," said Megan Stegner, Meriden YMCA Aquatics Director and Swim Team Coach.
