In addition to providing wonderful child care, our staff goes above and beyond for our Y families.
"When our house burned down, we lost everything, including all of the toys. Not only did Amy at the Meriden YMCA Child Care Center search high and low for two days to replace my daughter's special doll, the Meriden YMCA Child Care Center (teachers and some parents) purchased $200 of toys, games, and shoes for my daughter who is a student there. My daughter loves it there. Thank you." - Chris Dingwell
"My son Alexander has flourished in Mary-Jo's program. I adore Mary-Jo. She is like a family member. She has been with me every step of the way, through every difficulty with my son getting diagnosed with autism. I love my son's teachers. He is so happy to go to school every day. He has flourished there. It will be so hard to leave when it is time to go to kindergarten." - Maria, mom of Alexander

There are so many ways to help the Y serve our community. Even something as simple as doing your shopping can help our Annual Campaign which we use to give back to our neighbors.
We just wanted to let you know that when/if you purchase from Amazon, the YMCA can receive a donation. So instead of going to Amazon.com go to Smile.Amazon.com and when prompted for the organization find Young Mens Christian Association of Meriden CT. Each time you make a purchase a percentage will be donated back to the YMCA. Also, please consider becoming a sponsor or donate an auction item to our Martini & Massage Charity Benefit on June 5th. Donations are tax deductible. Proceeds benefit our Annual Campaign. Contact Carmen at 203-235-6386 x15 to learn more.
