As we travel the road of Lent, together, we are always aware and drawn to Easter that will follow.  It calls to us with all its promise.  While that is so, we remain in Lent.  This time of year isn't simply about  making it through the challenges, injustice, and brokenness that life may bring; rather, it is a time where we acknowledge and celebrate that God is with us in those times, and that God provides the promise and Way to new life.  Read more.

S'more Fun!  Camp Ten Trees Dinner & Auction Event

Each summer, LGBTQA youth and youth of LGBTQ families come together to strengthen inner courage, build life skills, and find community through the fun of the Camp Ten Trees summer camp sessions.  Get a taste of that same camp magic by being a part of our 2014 dinner and auction event, S'more Fun, and you'll be letting our campers know that their joy, resiliency, and well-being are of paramount importance to you.  Read more.

Benefit Concert for

Environmental Justice

  

Members and friends of Prospect Church present a benefit concert for 350 Seattle.  The concert will include jazz and folk music, and a tribute to Pete Seeger, who lived his life promoting a right relationship with the earth.  A variety of luscious desserts will be available at intermission.  Admission by donation at the door - all concert proceeds will go to 350 Seattle.  Read more.

The annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ is being held April 25-27 at University Congregational UCC in Seattle.
 
BEER & HYMNS

What a great way to come together and meet new people, connect with old friends, sing together, and socialize.  Come and join us THIS SUNDAY, March 16, for All Pilgrims' Beer and Hymns starting at 6:00 PM in Stuart Hall.

 

Root beer will be served as an alternative for those who prefer.  Please bring I.D., invite friends, and come and enjoy a great time together as we raise our voices in song.  See you there!!!

NIGHT SONG
This new worship experience begins Sunday, March 23 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.  We are really excited about the potential of local bands and other musical talent helping create a spiritually moving experience that will attract folks from near and far.  Our musical artist will be Joe DeNatale.

The Gathering of Women will next meet on Sunday, April 6 at 12:15 PM in the Weld Room.  We are delighted to have Bob and Margaret Thompson share with us their experiences in Haiti.  The work they do there is valued.  All are welcome!
