Coordinator's Message
Families received communication from RE Office this week regarding our Weekly News Bulletin. PLEASE forward this bulletin to whomever in your families on your list of emails that you provided at registration. Unfortunately, the email that receives this News Bulletin is the only contact for your family that Constant Contacts presently allows us to enter. We are working to try to fix this issue since we want all the contacts you requested to receive bulletins.

We are slowly settling in for another year of Religious Ed. Registrations keep coming in, which is good, but would be even better if all of that was behind us. Please remind your friends and neighbors to get their children enrolled NOW!
YOU continue to be our voice!! Thank you!!

Our first week of classes is behind us. Unfortunately, Wednesday 4:00 Session did not go as smoothly as the Sunday morning or Wednesday Evening Sessions. The Meet & Greet that was held on September 11 would have helped to make for a smoother start if all families were able to participate. The date was given to families in June.
Look for it to happen again next September.

Please contact us at 708-352-4555 or [email protected] (easy link to the left) to report your child's absence PRIOR to the start of class.

Parents are asked to refrain from walking their child to class, with the exception of Kindergarten parents. Kindergarten parents can walk their child in until your child gets accustomed to where to go. Parents who come into the building for purposes other than stopping in the RE Office are asked to sign in and wear a visitors badge.

We ask that we ALL continue to work on driving safely around parish grounds, especially during drop off and pick up for Religious Ed. Children should never exit or enter the vehicle on a side where another car will be driving by or can pass in front of you. Please read our Arrival and Dismissal Procedures attachment for further instruction.
Due to the large enrollment on Wednesday 4:00 Session, we will TRY to include 4th graders in the 5:10 dismissal slot to ease some of the congestion that occurred on Wednesday. We will continue to tweek this procedure until it seems to be working considering the constraints we have with construction. Parents and whomever will be picking up children are asked to stand BEHIND the cones that are put in place in the west parking lot.

Family Photo
We would like to add family photos to our We Are Family bulletin board.  Please send us your family picture if your family photo isn't already up.

Theme
Who Are You?...You Are A Child of God....And You Are Loved!.....is our theme for the year. We are going to focus on treating each other with respect.
A heart will be displayed by each class each month as their YES to treating ALL with respect. Hearts will be displayed outside the RE Office. Stop in every so often to see how we are doing!

Absences
Please remember to phone in (352-4555) or email ([email protected]) your child's absence.
Thank you!

Sixth Grade Bibles
The Sixth Graders of our parish study the Old Testament during the course of this school year.
Sixth Graders will receive their Bible at Mass this weekend September 24-25 at ALL the Masses.
Please make every effort to be present at SFX for
