Delta Announces New Destination From DCRA - Salt Lake City (SLC)


Delta Air Lines will begin service from Madison to Salt Lake City (SLC) beginning May 18, 2013. A strong passenger demand continues to drive flight service additions at the Dane County Regional Airport. DCRA Celebrates Record 2012
  

DCRA marked its second best year in history with passenger traffic increasing 6.7% compared to 2011. For 2012, 810,953 passengers flew out of Madison. In comparison, the airport's best year ever was 2004, with 847,341 passengers. In addition, 2012 set several all-time, record-breaking passenger numbers: June 73,838, July 74,974, and August with 79,784. During 2012, passenger traffic was up on all airlines at DCRA. American Airlines' New Branding


American Airlines displayed a new brand in January replacing its original 1968 design. The new look features silver paint, with the carriers core colors arranged in a flag of red, white and blue stripes on the tail, a white eagle's beak formation, and a miniature logo. American described it as an updated eagle logo people associate with the carrier, including an "A" and a star.



   

New Airport Vehicles Go CNG


DCRA increased its commitment to cleaner air by deploying the first compressed natural gas (CNG) powered airport support vehicle. CNG produces about 30% less emissions in light-duty vehicles and typically costs half the price of gasoline.
