Class Reunions
Friday morning Mass in the Chapel

Friday Morning Mass is held at 7 a.m. each week when school is in session in our school's chapel, located in the Convent. When there is a conflict with McNicholas' Friday schedule, Mass is held on Thursday mornings. We hope you can join us next school year.

Thank You for your Support

As we close out the 2014-2015 fiscal year, all of us at McNicholas want to say "thank you" to all the alumni that helped to make it a very good fundraising year in all major areas. The numbers are in the process of being finalized, but it looks like we had a 9.5 percent increase in the annual fund, and an 11 percent increase in total giving. Without the help of McNicholas alumni, these increases would never have happened. If you look at the many areas that the alumni have supported, whether it be athletics through Project Paradise, academics through the many donations to the alumni scholarships, or fine arts by attending and contributing to our many great programs, the passion and love you still have for McNicholas High School is evident to all of us.

Under Shawn Young's leadership we have worked very hard this year on our communication programs with our alumni. In the coming year, you have our commitment to continue those efforts and enhance them to the best of our capabilities. Over the next few weeks, we will announce new programs and events that will allow you to better support specific areas of McNicholas and recognize the contributions that alumni have made to McNicholas and to society.

If you have not been back to campus in a few years, please make every attempt to stop in to see Shawn or myself. Our offices are on the first floor of the Convent. We would be glad to show you the tremendous upgrades that have been made to the school and would love to catch up on what has been happening in your life.

McNicholas High School continues to be a vibrant place which is making an impact on the lives of many young men and women. Thank you for all you have done in helping us continue on our mission.

July 25, a Day to Help Out McNick

McNicholas High School is looking for a little alumni help.  Starting at 9 a.m. on July 25, we will be doing an alumni service project at McNick.   We are getting a new cafeteria this year, and that has given us the opportunity to replace the ceiling and lights in Freshman Hall.  The lights and tiles from the cafeteria  have been taken down and we hope to use them to spruce up the Freshman Hall.  We are looking for 10 dedicated Rockets to come in and help us switch things up.  Pizza and refreshmants will be provided.  If you can stay until completion that would be great.  If you can give us an hour, we would still love it.

If you are interested, please contact Alumni Manager, Shawn Young at 231-3500 ext. 5850 or email.

Statue of Mary

Thank you to the Military Memorial Committee and to Perry Interiors for their effort to restore the statue of Mary. After years of looking over the grotto, the statue of Mary is getting a restoration.  The statute is back in place and looks beautiful. Please check out these before and after pictures.

Progress of the Cafeteria

The new Caf & Student Union renovation project continues to make progress toward a mid-August completion in time for the start of school. The transformation of this space on the campus is exciting and will be a major draw for prospective students and a source of pride for students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

We have been able to utilize the services of many of our devoted Rocket alumni and their families including, Rod Bachman '86, Bachman, Inc; Rob Minardi '88, Ferguson Electric; Brad Sweeney '87,Carpetland; and  Mike Adkins '02, Studio Gear LLC.  Additionally, some of our existing suppliers of products and services including Derringer, Ryan's All Glass, Wulker Plumbing, 3rd Rock Music, Gilkey Windows, and Dalton Roofing have also helped.
