IT'S TIME TO FEEL GRATEFUL...
ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR YOU?
Happy Thanksgiving from me and Molly Rose!
October was the best! The wedding went off without a hitch. It was a sunset ceremony with sailboats sailing past on the Narragansett, It was almost surreal. So much joy, so good to be with all of my family. I actually came back feeling a little down for a few days. Other mothers who married off their kids said that sometimes that happens. Proves the point that our energy is always changing, kind of like the weather. And that is normal. One day high as a kite, the next day, a little dip. Be OK with all of it and for crying out loud, remember that you alone have everything you need to adjust that vibration of yours. I felt sad and I let myself be OK with being sad, instead of forcing myself to try and feel different. Now it is back to business.
November has the shorter, darker days.....not to mention the colder weather, but there are two amazing events lining up in my world. The Natural Living Expo is on Saturday and Sunday November 15 and 16. Information is listed to the left of the newsletter. Please come and visit my table and tap with me!! Table 48, you won't forget that number because that is the age I look RIGHT???? Ha ha.
Like many people Thanksgiving is my all time most favorite holiday. Yes, I know we are to thank God for our blessings, BUT do you thank God for yourself?? Your life, your beautiful self? "Wait", you may say, "When I look in the mirror I don't see my beauty, I just see my flaws". Well let me tell you something. Your true beauty radiates not from the outside, but from your inside. Ever see someone considered really beautiful and the minute they open their mouth you want to walk away because of their arrogance, "all about me" tendencies, cattiness, negativity or even neediness. Beautiful on the outside does not guarantee true beauty manifested.
True beauty comes from the heart. True beauty is someone who shows kindness or shares a smile with a stranger, who lends an ear to someone who needs support, who can love unconditionally, who is compassionate, who can find joy in the simplest things in life. True beauty is generosity of heart felt emotion. How can we define our own beauty that lives within ourselves? We take responsibility for ourselves for a start. We are always in the driver's seat. What we think about, what we say about ourselves and others, and how we show up each and every day is up to us. We all have choices and options, and we begin by creating a greater awareness, as this is crucial for all of us to really recognize and revere our inner beauty. When we can truly be our authentic self and and have the conviction that we are enough, that is when we start to radiate our inner beauty. Maybe it's been dormant within, but this Thanksgiving, ponder that the best Thanksgiving you will have will be the one where you truly are grateful for you, you beautiful you. You "one of a kind YOU" you.
Try this one: Get a piece of paper and write down 10 things that you like about yourself, not your body, but things that you do that you like. Do you make people feel better? Do you make them laugh? Are you generous with compliments? Are you a good honest person? Write them all down and read them daily and keep adding to the list. That my dear friend, is how you start to radiate your inner beauty out to the world like a beacon of much needed light in this world.
