This is one of those days that I always looked forward to! It is the end of the semester! I know, school may not quite be finished for the year; but at church, last night ended the 2012 fall semester.

• We've finished another fall of small groups.
• We've finished another fall of Awana.
• We've finished another fall of Youth.
• Next week we are on break!

So the question for you is looking back upon this semester; what did you learn? How did you grow? How has your faith grown over the past several months?

That's a tough question, isn't it? Have the past five months caused you to grow deeper in your love for the Lord? Have the past five months caused you to grow greater in your faith? Have the last five months equipped you to live more obediently before the Lord?

Discipleship is a journey. One day at a time you "follow Jesus". What does that include?

One thing it includes, is knowing His Word.

Jesus said, (John 10:27), "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me."

• Listening to His voice involves knowing His Word.
• Following Jesus includes being obedient to His Word.
