Happy New Year!!!!!

I know, I know; I'm early. But it seems to me that every other holiday get's celebrated early. I mean they now put up Christmas stuff in the stores before Labor Day! So if I'm just 22 days early for wishing you a Happy New Year, I'm certainly not too early!

You know what goes with the New Year, right? New Year's Resolutions! All those promises that this year is going to be better, this year is going to be different, this year is going to be the start of something new and fresh!

Will it be?

Will it be a New Year?

Well, it could be. But you need to get an early start on thinking through those resolutions. What would it really take for the New Year to be new?

I'm going to make a suggestion----the New Year just might be new, IF we do something differently. What would happen in your life if in 2013 you really began to take God's word seriously in your life? What would happen if you really started Loving the Word, Learning the Word and Living the Word?

Do you think your year might be better if you did?

In 2013 we are going to begin the year with EVERYONE in our church going through a study on the Word of God. I mean everyone! Our children, our youth and our adults are going to spend the first six weeks of 2013 learning how to read, study, use, learn, love and live the Word of God.

Don't miss being a part of this great adventure together. I'm excited to think about how our lives might grow in Christ as we strive to grow through the Word.
