*Botox is the most widely discussed non-invasive medicinal enhancement for a Liquid Face Lift. Botox started being used in the 70's, but not for stray lines, sweaty armpits and forehead wrinkles. Originally Botox was used to treat facial tics, crossed eyes, and other muscular spasm problems. In 1989 Botox was approved to be used for most medical purposes, but not for cosmetics. Soon people started noticing that when Botox was used facial wrinkles disappeared. It was not until the early 2000's that Botox was approved for all cosmetic purposes.

Now Botox is the standard for facial injections and the industry leader in skin smoothing injections.

Dysport

Dysport has been available overseas for about 20 years. Great Britain's government started using it for cosmetic reasons in 1990, but the drug just came to the US in 2009. While we offer both Dysport and Botox, after an informed decision our customers overwhelmingly choose Dysport. Dysport uses the same Botulinum toxin to paralyze muscles, but it has a few differences:

• Dysport takes affect slightly faster than Botox. This is important if you need the affect within the week.
• Dysport affects a larger area. This is good on large areas like the forehead.
• Dysport may last longer. Dysport contains less of the protein that allows your body to break down the injections. Dysport then, in theory, lasts longer because those breakable chemicals are less abundant.
• Dysport may help those people who have built up a tolerance to Botox. For the same reason Dysport may last longer Dysport can help people who have "gotten used" to Botox. 
• Dysport may look better. There have been some early clinical trials showing that people like Dysport better then Botox.
