Recently, Apple ended security updates for QuickTime for Windows, a video player and media viewing application that has been bundled with iTunes at times and available as an on-demand download.  This means QuickTime is now vulnerable to cyberattacks.  Talk with your IT provider to find out how this might affect your business.

Why Patch Management is Important
Patch Management
Your IT services firm is telling you that your computers need to be "patched."  Patches are software updates that help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works in ways you can't see, or improve your user experience by adding program enhancements that you can see. What does that mean and why is it important to your business?

Old Computer
Is the IT in your small business way behind?  It depends on your definition.  If you only replace equipment when it's broken, that's very different than proactively deciding when it's time to plan for IT upgrades, even though your machines may still turn on in the morning.
Fast Good CheapWhen you're evaluating managed IT services, what's more important - knowledgeable service, quick response, or low price?  This question has plagued both managed IT services buyers and providers for years (and maybe it plagues your business, too).  Can a service meet all three goals?
