From the President
Please stay vigilant about opening suspicious emails. We recently received a notification from Fifth Third Bank (you may have as well) that their customers were receiving fraudulent emails claiming that an invoice for a service agreement was past due and referring to an attachment that contained relevant information. Users who opened the attachment, which contained malware designed to facilitate fraud, were asked to report it to the bank.

Unfortunately, this trend shows no sign of slowing. Be cautious when opening emails that look suspicious, especially those involving requests for money transfers or other financial information.

As always, we're here to help.

Sincerely,
Jim Kerr
President

Why Keeping IT Current Protects Your Business
Business IT
When you're looking for help managing your business IT, one of the first things a potential IT provider may ask is the age of your hardware. Newer machines are more efficient and more secure than older machines. Over time, your business will be better protected if you stick to a proactive plan that incrementally keeps your workstations and servers updated. Here's why.

Cloud Computing
By 2020, it's estimated that 78% of small businesses will have adopted some form of cloud computing. How about you? Maybe your business is already enjoying the benefits of the cloud, or maybe you're just not ready to get rid of those servers yet. Either way, here are some things to think about to help you decide if cloud computing is right for your business.
Password Strong Using strong passwords is one of the last lines of defense in business IT between you and a hacker. To ensure that your company data is safe, make sure you and your team know how to create strong passwords. Here's what you need to know.
