Dear (Contact First Name),

Thank you to each and every one of you for your time commitment to YPR. With all the changes to RAMAC, we are excited and looking forward to a change in our corner of the organization as well.  As a board we've absolutely loved getting to know so many people and it is bittersweet now that the time has come for us to streamline the structure of leadership for YPR.  As a board, we are so grateful for everyone's time, commitment and hard work through the years.

With that said, continued volunteer needs for YPR are as follows:

  • Community Service Committee Members
  • Professional Development Committee Member
  • Events Committee Members

There was an article in the Racine Journal Times a few weeks ago that we believe meant well; however, it missed the mark in many ways in informing the community what YPR actually does for the community for example, and how little will change in that perspective...

We had a great year; here are some of our highlights:

  • Sponsored and volunteered at Bark for Life
  • Sponsored and volunteered at the Racine Zoo's Eggstravaganza
  • Completed our 11th Wine Tasting Fundraiser with a fun Roaring 20's theme
  • Co-planned 6 Business Blenders and 3 professionals development breakfasts
  • Raised and awarded a $500 college scholarship through our annual Dodgeball event for the 3rd year in a row
  • Alive After 5's that highlighted Amazing Business in the Downtown Racine Area
  • Hope Lodge American Cancer Society Donation Drive
  • Celebrated another Young Professional of the Year for the 11th year
  • and More...

Bottom Line - YPR will continue to do for the community as it has in the years prior with the exception of more targeted community and professional engagement. We'd like you to know that we are NOT just a social club; we are so much more... Our mission is to Connect, Grow, Succeed and Have fun and we invite YOU to join us.

YPR is excited to continue to do great work in this community to attract and retain talent through those 3 core focus areas mentioned above (Events, Professional Development, and Community Service).

What's ahead in 2014?  We 're glad you asked!

Our dodgeball scholarship....volunteer opportunities throughout Racine...RAMAC and YPR events... charities... new partnerships...business blenders....professional breakfasts....workshops...and much more!

Sincerely,

YPR Board

Racine, WI - They hopped across the country playing for packed-houses of delighted fans last year. Now, join the beloved bunny siblings, Max and Ruby, as they take to the stage at the Racine Civic Centre's Memorial Hall on December 10th at 6:30 PM for their most magical performance yet. Koba Entertainment is pleased to present its latest theatrical production, Max & Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite.Inspired by one of the greatest musical scores ever - Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite - Max and Ruby are ready to bring this holiday classic to a new generation of fans this fall.

It's a glistening snowy winter evening and Max and Ruby have been anxiously waiting for the most spectacular event of the year: seeing The Nutcracker ballet with Grandma. Imagine their disappointment when a snow storm keeps them at home!

A story of the Nutcracker will have to do! So vivid is Grandma's storytelling that the characters in the ballet come to life right before their very eyes!

Max and Ruby marvel at the sight of many enchanting guests, including a Spanish bullfighter, the Sugar Plum Fairy and a runaway gingerbread man. Ruby is eager to participate in their exquisite dance, but it's Max who steals the show! Whether it was the sweets, or their lively imaginations, Max and Ruby head off to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads!

With the classic notes of Tchaikovsky guiding their journey, Max and Ruby bring fun and adventure to this whimsical tale. A production created for the whole family to enjoy right in time for the holiday season.
