YPR Upcoming Events
Greetings!

We are just about a month away from our annual wine tasting event, and I couldn't be more excited to show you all what we've got planned.  The theme is the roaring 20s and we're looking forward to seeing all of you dressed up (not required, but encouraged) and enjoying yourself.  You will also be able to listen to music and bid on some great auction items.  In addition, we've got some great surprises in store! The tickets are discounted if you purchase by September 30th so don't wait!

Best Regards,

April Jacobs

President

Donations Welcome!

YPR Hope Lodge Donation Drive

Facing cancer is hard. Having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Yet, the American Cancer Society has a place where cancer patients and their caregivers can find help and hope when home is far away - an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.

Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting well. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others. Every Hope Lodge also offers a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease.

YPR will be collecting donated items from the Hope Lodge's needs list. Check your ability to donate with your heart, as we are hoping to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer.

We will  also accept monetary donations to the American Cancer Society. Checks can be mailed to:

American Cancer Society,
Attn: Young Professionals of Racine,
PO Box 902,

Picasso Vino (Located inside Grapes2Glass)

If you are looking for a fun and exciting place to take a date, or hanging with friends, then do I have an option for you!

Picasso Vino is a painting studio located within Grapes2Glass. The workshops are 2 to 2-1/2 hours.   All workshops are led by an instructor and the wine is provided by Grapes2Glass.  This hands-on workshop is guaranteed to be the experience needed to remedy any cold weather blues.  There are multiple pictures to paint, to keep you coming back for more. Even if you have zero artistic ability, with good wine and great company, you too can feel what it's like to produce something great, even if you are the only one who will ever see it.

For more information on this fun activity, please visit http://www.picassovino.com/ or email  picasso.vino@gmail.com!  In addition, you can 'like' them on Facebook.
