There is still time to register for the 45th Annual AGA National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, December 10-12, 2015. Registration is $100/adult and $50/junior (ages 8-21). Pricing is per person and includes all three days of convention. Registration is available online and can be accessed by clicking the link below. Convention registration will also be available at convention.

All individuals registered for convention will be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win two tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs game against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, December 13 at Arrowhead Stadium.

The new Gelbvieh & Balancer® online apparel store is now open! The store will be open for orders until December 30 and can be accessed by clicking the link below or through the link on the home page of www.gelbvieh.org. Once you have accessed the page, click 'Gelbvieh' on the left side .

Items available in the store include soft shell jackets, v-neck raglan wind shirts, hooded sweatshirts, gloves, and caps. Be sure to visit the apparel booth at the AGA National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri next week to view samples of the apparel.

All items purchased online will be shipped when the store closes on December 30 and can be expected to arrive in the mail by the end of January; just in time for bull sale season! The AGA Online Registry has been busy with members working diligently to get their data submitted. This is just a reminder the AGA operates on a cash basis. If you are carrying an account balance of $500 or more for 15 days or greater, the AGA Registry will automatically lock member accounts. No online work is permitted until full payment is received. In order to avoid confusion regarding locked accounts or members being locked out of accounts at inopportune times, AGA staff encourages members to log in and take a look at the account balance. This is just a reminder that AGA dues are due annually on the anniversary of the membership activation date. Annual dues due dates can be viewed under the General Profile Information screen on the AGA Online Registry in the upper right hand corner next to "Membership Ends".  To renew a membership simply click "Renew". Balances can then be paid online by going under the Account tab.

American Gelbvieh Junior Association members should have received their annual junior dues in the mail. Junior dues are $20.00 for one year and are due no later than December 31 to remain an active junior member.

Applications for the 2016 AGJA Breeder's Choice Bull Futurity Scholarship are due January 2. One AGJA member will be presented up to a $1,000 scholarship during the annual Breeder's Choice Bull Futurity held Sunday, January 10 during the National Western Stock Show at the Double Tree by Hilton Denver - Stapleton North. The scholarship application can be found on the Scholarship page under the Juniors tab of www.gelbvieh.org.

The AGA office will be closed on Friday, December 11 for the AGA annual meeting. Regular office hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 p.m. MT, will resume on Monday, December 14.
