Convention Registration

There is still time to register for the 45th Annual AGA National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri, December 10-12, 2015. Registration is $100/adult and $50/juniors (ages 8-21). Pricing is per person and includes all three days of convention. Registration is available online and can be accessed by clicking the link below. Convention registration will also be available at convention.

All individuals registered for convention will be automatically put into a drawing for a chance to win two tickets to the Kansas City Chiefs game against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, December 13 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Convention Highlight: Committee Meetings

The American Gelbvieh Association committees play a vital role in the development and implementation of AGA programs, services and policies. This year, all AGA committee meetings will be held during the 45th Annual AGA National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. All members are invited and encouraged to attend all committee meetings. These meetings will consist of presentations from staff and committee chairs as well as a member and stakeholder forum to discuss current topics and ideas. Below is a complete schedule of committee meetings.

The committee meetings and other convention events will be live-streamed. Members are able view the meetings via the American Gelbvieh Association's YouTube channel. Be sure to visit www.gelbvieh.org for the link to view the live-stream during convention.

Absentee Ballots

The election for the AGA Board of Directors will take place during the AGA Annual Meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Kansas City-International Airport hotel in Kansas City, Missouri. Members unable to attend the annual meeting may request an absentee ballot by phone, email, or fax for election of directors. Ballots must be requested by Tuesday, December 1. Ballots must be returned to the AGA office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 7.
NEW Gelbvieh & Balancer® Apparel

The AGA is excited to be partnering with Scarborough Specialties of Lubbock, Texas, to offer new Gelbvieh and Balancer® apparel! Beginning December 4-December 30, individuals will be able to place their apparel order via online store. Be sure to 'like' the AGA on Facebook to see sneak peaks of all the exciting Gelbvieh and Balancer merchandise that will be available. Samples of the apparel will also be on display at the AGA apparel booth at the National Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.

All items purchased online will be shipped when the store closes on December 30 and can be expected to arrive in the mail by the end of January; just in time for bull sale season! AGA Office Closed for Thanksgiving

The AGA office will be closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular office hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. MT, will resume on Monday, November 30. The AGA would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
