AGA Office Closed Monday
|

The American Gelbvieh Association (AGA) office will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The office will resume regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST on Tuesday, May 26.
The AGA would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day as we honor those who have served our country.

Changes to Gelbvieh World Production Schedule

Traditionally, the Junior Programs have been highlighted in the September issue of Gelbvieh World but starting this summer Junior Programs will now be highlighted one month earlier in the August issue! The September magazine will now be the seedstock marketing issue. Please make note of this change, as Junior issue ad deadlines have changed. Space reservations and ad copy are now due July 1 with camera-ready ads due on July 15 for the August 2015 Junior Programs edition of Gelbvieh World.

Patti Says Goodbye to AGA

The AGA would like to thank Patti Showman for her 23 years of dedication and service to the AGA. Patti has accepted another opportunity and her last day was Friday, May 15. Patti played a vital role in AGA customer services and her bubbly personality and bright smile will be missed around the office.

Congratulations to AGA Junior Activities Coordinator Carrie Tilghman Derossett on her wedding! Carrie Tilghman and Daryl Derossett tied the knot in Glasgow, Kentucky on Saturday May 16, 2015. We would like to extend our well wishes to Carrie and her new husband for a lifetime of wedded bliss.

Junior Classic Forms Online

All forms and information including entry forms, AGJA Board of Director application, junior classic scholarship applications and a schedule of events are now online on "The Heart of It All" Classic page under the Juniors tab on www.gelbvieh.org. Both a printable version and online version of the entry form are available. All entries must be submitted (electronically) or postmarked by June 1.

Animal Ownership Deadline

|
All animals being shown in the 2015 AGJA Lincoln Land Eastern Regional and the 2015 AGJA " The Heart of It All" Classic must be transferred by June 1. Animals must be owned solely by the exhibitor or the exhibitor's immediate family or ranch. Animals may be co-owned with an immediate family member or the family's ranch.
The ownership deadline for animals being exhibited in the 2015 AGJA Show Me Western Regional was May 1.
