Herd Assessment Reminders

Herd Assessments (HAS) are due March 16, 2015. Members that do not have access online should have already received a paper copy of their herd assessment in the mail. Online members can attend one of the scheduled online training sessions (schedule and participation instructions can be found here) that will review the online Herd Assessment process. Click the link below to download a written guide on completing the 2015 HAS process.

If you would like to submit your herd assessment on paper, but have not received a paper copy in the mail, please call the AGA office at 303-465-2333 or email info@gelbvieh.org to have a paper copy mailed to you. Please be sure to include your member number in this request.

Helpful Tip: The following example is a common error that is seen when females are disposed during the herd assessment process.  From the Inventory > Assessment Age screen when you select the trash can icon to dispose of a female a drop down box will appear.  After you choose the disposal code from the drop down box be sure to click the green checkmark    to the right of the box to set the disposal code.  At that point the drop down box will be replaced with the disposal code description that you selected.  Failure to click the green checkmark means that the disposal was not completed and females will not be disposed. Thus, you will be assessed for those females.
