Herd Assessment Reminders

Herd Assessments (HAS) are due March 16, 2015. Members that do not have access online should have already received a paper copy of their herd assessment in the mail. Online members can attend one of the scheduled online training sessions (schedule and particpation instructions can be found here) that will review the online Herd Assessment process. Click the link below to download a written guide on completing the 2015 HAS process.

If you would like to submit your herd assessment on paper, but have not received a paper copy in the mail, please call the AGA office at 303-465-2333 or email info@gelbvieh.org to have a paper copy mailed to you. Please be sure to include you member number in this request.

Recording 2015 Calves

In order to record 2015 born calves you must first complete the 2015 Herd Assessment (HAS) process. If you have 2015 calves in a birth queue on the online Registry Service they can remain in the queue until you have completed the HAS process. Once you have completed the HAS process you may re-enter the queue and validate the data on the calves entered. At that time the "Dam does not have available HAS credit" message should disappear and calves can be recorded.
