Summer Classes for Adults - Get centered and take an art class or workshop this summer! Programs begin in June and July and include ceramics, drawing and DSLR photography, and painting in watercolors, pastels or oils.
New Summer Art Camps - Newly added to the schedule: Hands in Clay & Paint (ages 3-5), Sculpt & Sketch (ages 5-8) and Watercolor & Acrylic Painting (ages 12-15). We have a large variety of camps for ages 3-16!

There is now a Little Free Library at the Cornelius Community Garden! We are excited to be part of this world-wide initiative, encouraging readers of all ages to "take a book, leave a book", and we thank Inclusion Community for making this project possible! Join the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists at Robbins Park for a free, one-hour nature walk on Saturday, June 6, starting at 8:30am sharp. All ages are welcome. SPECIAL NEEDS
Bowling Night for Special Needs Adults - For ages 16 and up on Friday, June 19, 7:00-8:30pm at Spare Time at Lake Norman. $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents.
Sailors with Special Needs - The free event provides the opportunity for special needs individuals and their immediate families to experience the thrills of sailing on the lake! Saturday, June 6, 12:00-3:00pm. Free for residents, $5 per non-resident sailor. Reservations required.
Special Needs Baseball - For ages 5-17 on Saturday mornings at Legion Park. $25 for residents. $30 for non-residents. This program started on May 30 but don't worry - we still have room for you!
Special Needs Summer Camps - Four different camps for your child to enjoy - including a camp designed for preschoolers, ages 2-6 - but hurry, only a few spaces remain open!
The Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department, in partnership with the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville, will be offering expanded Therapeutic Recreation program opportunities for residents in northern Mecklenburg County, as well as the three towns.
