Cultural Hi-Ways has been in the business of au pair travel for over 23 years.  We understand your tight budget - but we also understand the crazy schedules, long hours with kids, the possible ups and downs of living with the family you work with and homesickness -- we get it!  This tour was not created with the lowest possible budget in mind, it was created with the au pair in mind.

             

This tour is designed for the au pair who...
...wants their vacation to feel like a treat - not work - not rushed!
...wants to stay in great quality hotels every night!
...wants their accommodation to be within WALKING distance to many of each city's attractions!
...wants an itinerary to follow and tips on what to see but also wants independence and freedom to enjoy their vacation and go do what they want to do!
...wants to spend their time in San Francisco, LA & Vegas -- doesn't want a lot of extra stops along the way to places of no interest to them!
...wants the option to combine their educational requirement with the Totally California course (including the tour) offered through BMCC!
...likes to feel confident booking with a reputable company!
Hotel Accommodation
Educate yourself -- if you sign up for a trip with a different company (gasp -- yes -- we know some of you choose not to travel with Cultural Hi-Ways!) where your hotel is not downtown -- how much will it cost you to take a taxi in to the city and how long will it take (have you heard about the traffic in LA)?

You will be staying just a 5 minute walk from the sidewalk of stars -- Hollywood Blvd. (see picture)!  That means Dolby Theatre, Grauhman's Chinese Theater & the Hollywood and Highland Center are all within walking distance!
Las Vegas!
105 East Harmon Avenue

Opposite your hotel is the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood.  Plus you'll be staying just a 5 minute walk from the famous Las Vegas Strip.  Think Ocean's Eleven!
