Recital DVDs will be done this year
by FlipBox Productions.
Order forms are available on our website and a few are at the front desk. You can also order online or at the show on Sunday.
Checks should be made out to
FlipBox Productions.
You can leave completed order forms at our front desk.
The price per show is $30.
Be sure to specify which show time you want,
1:00, 4:00 or 7:00 pm.
If you have dancers in more than one show additional shows may be ordered at a discount.
Your kids will get hours of enjoyment watching themselves and their friends on TV.
You may videotape your child yourself at the Dress Rehearsal. This is a good time to get closeup shots of just your child.
If you wish to videotape at the show on the 10th, you may only do so from the balcony. To ensure that no one's view is obstructed, you may only tape from your seat. No tripods or taping in the aisle ways or stairs will be permitted.

 Recital 2013 -
Sunday, June 9th
We are in our final countdown to the big day! Just a few days left! The Recital page on our website contains information and guidelines for making it a great event for all involved. Please read over everything, especially the Details, Details sheet. It has a section just for our Combo class parents. If there is snything you aren't clear on or don't understand, just ask.
Each show will last just over 90 minutes. We do ask you to stay for the entire show. With this length we do not have an intermission. It's very distracting for the dancers and the rest of the audience if people get up to leave during the performance. We know you wouldn't want to miss seeing your child dance because someone is exiting from the row in front of you. Please give all the dancers the respect they deserve by staying for the entire performance. The dancers will be supervised backstage during the show and may be picked up after the finale.
Our Dress rehearsals will be Saturday, June 8th at the Mason High School. A rehearsal schedule is posted on your Recital page. There is a copy sorted by day and class and a copy in recital order. Check to make sure you know what time your class is scheduled to rehearse. We have a lot of songs that are duplicated in 2 or all 3 of the shows so be sure to look at the class day & time as well as the song title.
Saturday is a full dress rehearsal for all students. Dancers are to be in full costume including the correct shoes, tights, hair and makeup. Hairstyles are listed on the Costume Previews on the Recital page.
We will also have a Tech Rehearsal (in practice clothes) for the Pre-Pro Ballet on Friday, June 8th. Warm-up for them starts at 6:00 Friday at MHS. Dancers will be finished by 8:00 pm.
We try our best to make sure that everyone has all the details needed so you will be able to relax and enjoy the show. It will be here before you know it! |

 Recital Tickets Available
Cost-$12 (General Admission)
If you have not picked up your comp tickets from your recital fee yet, they are in the office waiting for you in an envelope with your name on it.
Office hours this week will be Mon/Wed 4:30-8:30 & Tues/Thurs 4:30-7:30. Closed on Friday.
Tickets will still be available for purchase at Mason High School on dress rehearsal & the day of the show if we have not sold out. We have plenty of tickets still available right now. All ticket sales at the High School will be cash or check only, sorry no credit cards sales after Thursday.
**Accounts must be paid in full to pick up or purchase tickets.**

 Fall Registration Starts Soon!
We are finalizing our 2013-14 schedule and will open registration soon. Current students get a bit of a jump start on registration for next season's classes. You may register online as soon as the schedule is posted.
New students enrolled for our summer sessions can start registering on Friday, June 14. Totally new students cannot register until Friday, June 21.
All registration will be done online once again and you will have access to your account information through our online portal. Report cards for students Combo D and above will be sent to you by mail. Placement recommendations will pop up when you log in on the system.

Recital T-Shirts & Flowers
If you have not ordered a recital T-shirt from the MDC Team Parents' Association yet, it's not too late. See the order form for T-shirts by going to this LINK. Shirts ordered after the initial deadline of May 17 will arrive after the recital.
This year's shirts are gray with the screenprint design in lime and bright orday. All the MDC dancers will be listed on the back of the shirt. T-shirts ordered prior to the deadline will be available for pick up at Mason High School on recital weekend. T-shirts can be picked up in the lobby during dress rehearsal on Saturday the 8th.
If you ordered Recital flowers they can be picked up at MHS on the day of the show. It is now past the deadline for ordering flowers, |
Summer Classes 
Our summer schedule is on our website. Summer is a great time to sample something new or just keep active with what you love! This summer we will be offering a six week session that runs June 24-July 31. Most classes meet once a week.
Our summer schedule includes 2 adult classes too- ballet & tap. Moms/Dads, give it a try! Adult classes are pay as you go or you can purchase a class card and save $.

Recital Thoughts
As the time for recital nears & things grow ever more hectic, we hope that you will keep in mind that the recital is a day for the students. We want them to go on stage at least moderately relaxed & enjoy their day, proud of what they've learned this year. Things may not always go perfectly, but the audience usually is unaware of little errors. As adults we sometimes get so wrapped up in all the details that we lose sight of the kids' perspective. We hope they have a great day & you enjoy their show!
