Dear Wine Lover Friends,

In the midst of the Dog Days of Summer, you'll find Virginia wineries the "coolest" places to visit where you can sip wine in air-conditioned tasting rooms or shaded picnic areas.  Summer festivals and special activities across Virginia are still in full swing, and you will find them listed in our events section.

Our August Winery of the Month is the extraordinary Greenhill Winery & Vineyards in Middleburg.  The picturesque setting is stunning.  The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming.  And, of course, the wines are award winners.  If you haven't yet visited, Greenhill should top your "wineries to visit bucket list" for August.

We'd love to hear about your August wine travels.  Cheers!

An Extraordinary Experience in Every Way.

Rustic elegance. History. Heritage and serenity. Fine French-influenced wines made from 100% Virginia grapes and a legacy deeply rooted in Virginia soil. And, most certainly, one of the most beautiful winery properties in Virginia. Greenhill Winery & Vineyards is extraordinary!

Almost a decade before acquiring the property, David Greenhill had been impressed by the picturesque landscape of Northern Virginia wine country. Wineries, complete with friendly winemakers and staff, beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, lush vineyards, and a sense of simple, earthy lifestyle, made him want to return again and again.
