County Chamber Education Foundation Offers College, Trade School Scholarships
January 15, 2016

The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from students planning to continue their education beyond high school. High School students planning to attend college or an accredited trade school or apprentice program are invited to apply.

Applications are due by April 8, 2016 and can be accessed on the chamber website www.CapeMayCountyChamber.com/scholarshipapp. Only applications submitted online will be accepted.

Stockton University School of Business Dean Wagner to Address CMC Chamber
January 12, 2016

The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce will host Dr. Janet Wagner, Dean of the School of Business at Stockton University, as the speaker of the Chamber's January 21 lunch meeting.  Dean Wagner will discuss "Trends in Business and How They Affect You".

Stockton's School of Business offers undergraduate programs in Business Studies, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Computer Science and Information Systems and a graduate MBA program. The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce works closely with Stockton University to provide professional training for businesses, promote Internships, and keep informed on new trends in business education.

The luxury resort group was recently in the news for purchasing the Golden Inn four weeks prior to acquiring The Palace.

New Jersey voters will get the chance to vote on dedicating the full yield of gas tax revenues when they vote this November 8th.
 
The New Jersey State Senate and Assembly approved ACR  1 sponsored by Assembly Speaker Prieto which asks voters to amend the New Jersey constitution to dedicate all State revenues from motor fuels and petroleum products gross receipts tax to transportation.
