We're hiring in communications
After nearly 6 years with the diocese, Communications Director Ruth Meteer will be setting out on her next great adventure this fall. Please join us in wishing her well!
Ruth has taken our communications to new levels: The quarterly RISEN Magazine is an award-winning publication. All but two of our churches now have websites, most are active on social media, and the great things happening in the Episcopal Church in R.I. are gaining national notice.
We hope to hire over the summer months to ensure a smooth transition in this full time ministry. Please contact the Rev. Linda Grenz for more information about the open position or to submit an application.

Reaching out to those affected by autism
Plans are underway at Advent, Coventry (formerly St. Matthias) for a ministry that meets the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of those affected by autism in R.I.
The program will be based on the Rhythms of Grace liturgical program, which was developed by the Rev. Dr. Audrey Scanlan and Linda L. Snyder to serve the autistic community and their families -- but liturgies will be appropriate for all who wish to experience another expression of how we can worship God and serve God's people.
To make this unique interactive worship a reality, we still need lots of help with cleaning, landscaping, painting, and TLC as we reconfigure the sanctuary to host this new community.
Learn more about this new community of faith and find out how to volunteer.
