Bishops Against Gun Violence
Sick of the senseless deaths and injuries caused by guns? Tired of feeling helpless to prevent the violence?
So are the Bishops Against Gun Violence, an ad hoc group of more than 30 Episcopal bishops, including Bp. Knisely, who have come together to explore ways to reduce the appalling levels of gun violence in our society, and to advocate for policies and legislation that save lives.
In the six states that have had effective gun violence prevention laws in place for decades, homicides are down, suicides are down, and deaths due to domestic violence are down.
These laws work. Now, we need to spread the word.

92nd Annual Good Friday Offering
Please help support Christians in Jerusalem and the Middle EastWhat: Since 1922, Episcopalians have supported the ministries of the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East with the Good Friday Offering. Why: Through the work of the Episcopal dioceses in the Middle East, Christians maintain a peacemaking and stabilizing presence in the region, serving their neighbors regardless of faith background. How: Simply accept offerings at all services on Good Friday and make a donation to the DFMS. Find out more about the Diocese of Jerusalem and the Diocese of Cyprus. Then encourage your parish to participate in this important effort.

Are your wardens coming to Wardens Day?
Sat., March 29 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
St. John's, Barrington
Wardens day is only a few weeks away -- but not all churches have submitted their 2014 parish info form to the Bishop's Office yet, so your new wardens may not have received an email about this event.
Please check with your wardens or forward this email so they have a chance to register.
To ensure we have the correct emails for your new vestry members, please also ask whether your parish administrator has filled out the parish info form -- and if not, make sure we get it ASAP so your vestry doesn't miss anything important.
