Diocesan eNews
Greetings!

In this issue, we offer stories of new life and hope in the new year. We hope they are an encouragement to you, your church, and your neighborhood. Thanks for reading!

Wishing you a happy -- and healthy -- new year!

Did you make a resolution to live healthier in 2014?
Let's work together to stay on track.

Come to a free Wellness Summit on January 25th at St. Peter's by-the-Sea.

Put on by the Church Pension Group and the Medical Trust, this event offers practical advice and tools for keeping in good health. The summit is intended for Medical Trust participants (lay and clergy church employees and their families) but all are welcome.

Come evaluate your current lifestyle and learn about positive changes to make that will support you for years to come. Meet other R.I. Episcopalians who are looking to live healthier. Maybe we can hold each other accountable. A (healthy) lunch will be served.

RSVP for this event online. Can't attend? Visit CPG's website for tips on living a healthy life.

2014 Learn and Lead seminar

Forming Faithful Leaders
Saturday, March 1st
9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
St. Luke's Church

Many churches suffer from a shortage of leadership and the overwhelming sense that too few people are doing too much of the heavy lifting.

How can we raise up and form new healthy, faithful and effective leaders for the future?

The Congregational Development Commission invites all current and future leaders to a daylong seminar featuring a keynote address from Bishop Knisely, as well as six workshops exploring aspects of this important topic.
