Please Support Typhoon Relief

The scope of the damage in the Philippines is so great that it can be hard to know how to respond.

Prayer is always a start, and we ask that you remember to include the people of the Philippines in your personal and corporate prayers during these first weeks after the typhoon.

We also encourage you to take a special offering in your congregation. Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) is a reliable place to donate, and has a fund set up for typhoon relief. They also provide bulletin inserts and other resources you can use as you respond pastorally to the reactions of your parishioners.

Donations to this and other ERD funds will be matched through Dec. 6.

How To: Free Google Tools

Google offers a variety of tools free of charge to churches through Google for Nonprofits. The Bishop's Office is now using it, and if you're interested in how Google can help your own church do more with less, this EDS class might be for you:

New Tech: Google Tools Strengthen Your Church

Thurs 12/5  9-1pm

Episcopal Divinity School

Learn how Google can bring your congregation together through video-conferencing, contact lists, email, free websites, broadcasting meetings, calendaring, ads, and more. Click for full class details or to register.

And since the Bishop's Office uses these tools we can help you implement them too! Just email ruth@episcopalri.org
