Welcome to the new Diocesan eNews, a monthly email that has evolved out of eRISEN and the great ideas you've had for ways we can make it better.
We've designed this new newsletter in response to your requests to make it easier to share your church's events with the whole world, and to give you a place to hear & share inspiring ministry stories more often than the quarterly issues of Risen Magazine.
A few things to notice:
- Each issue will include 3 or 4 stories about exciting things that have happened recently around our diocese. If your church has a story about a ministry success or failure and you think it could inspire other churches, email ruth@episcopalri.org to talk about including it an upcoming issue.
- Upcoming event listings are now featured in the church events calendar on our website, which has it's own button at the bottom of each eNews issue. This makes your events public to those who aren't already on our mailing list, and you will be happy to hear that when you submit an event through the form below the calendar, it will appear on the calendar immediately. No more wondering if your submission went through. Hooray!
- Diocesan eNews will be sent out the first week of each month, so be sure all your latest events have been submitted to the calendar by then, as our readers will be clicking through to look at it the as soon as eNews hits their inboxes!

URI College Ministry to Go
St. Augustine's at URI has taken a fresh new approach to college ministry, and spent this past school year bringing food, prayers, and support to students where and when they were in need of it most.
You may have already read the story in RISEN Magazine but did you know Episcopal News Service picked up the story and published it Church-wide?
Congrats, St. Augustine's!
