Greetings!
Easter is just around the corner! Hope you are enjoying Holy Week. If you are on twitter or instagram, we ask that you post photos under the hashtag #RIEaster and/or tag us @episcopalri throughout the weekend. What to post? Photos and quips that capture the story of Easter. Lets show the world what Easter is and why it means so much to us.
We'll publish a collection of the most touching, dynamic shots next week. (if you are not social media savvy but take great pictures, email them to me by monday night).
Also, just around the corner is our Wardens Day. If you are a Jr. or Sr. Warden at one of our parishes, we hope to see you there! Read the full ad here.
In worldwide news, the big event last week was the enthronement of the new Archbishop of Canterbury, if you missed it, watch a recap online here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21885687

The 3rd Annual New England Anglican Studies (NEAS) Conference
When: April 20 2013, 9am to 7pm
Where: Harvard Divinity School, Cambridge MA
Description: Keynote Speaker will be the Most Rev. Frank T. Griswold III, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, 1998-2006. Contemporary Christianity has seen a resurgence of interest in contemplation; in christian contemplative traditions, as well as in the contemplative practices of other religious traditions. These trends enliven contemporary prayer and practice. Contemplation is not a flight from the world and its many challenges, but rather a mode of delivering oneself and others into the world anew, renewed, and ever ready to face those very challenges. This conference aims to investigate and deepen this conviction
