Passover Second Night Seder

Organized for you by the Red Tent Women's Reading Group

The 2015 Second Night Seder is open to members and guests by advance reservation, at a cost of $10 person, $15 per couple, $5 for kids 12 and under.  Seating is limited; reservations will be taken on first come-first served basis, and prepayment is appreciated.

Now...the Best Part...The FOOD!!

This will be a covered-dish dinner, and for this Seder ONLY, we have a dispensation granted by vote of the Board of Directors to have a fleischig meal.  This means that we will not have dairy dishes at all: all food will be meat, poultry, or vegetarian, Kosher for Passover, please!

Please select from the following list an item that you would like to bring and notify the office (305-235-1419) or bethortemple@aol.com of your selection.   More than one batch of some items will be needed, and the list indicates the number.  Those batches can be divided among different preparers. 

Main and Side Dishes:

Chicken Soup with Matzoh Balls:         4 large pots 

Savory platters: pickles, olives, raw
   veggies, horseradish (suggested):       2 platters

Brisket, approximately 6 lb. each:          3

Salmon, approximately 6 lb. each:         4

Roast chicken:                                            4

Matzoh Kugel, large                                 4

Carrot Tsimmes, large                              4

Green vegetables, hot                              4

Roasted root vegetables, hot                   4

Sweet potatoes, large batch                     1

Potato kugel                                                4

 
Beverages

Sodas, 2-liter bottles:                                10

1  20-30 oz. can of decaf coffee
