Weight Watchers at Beth Or!

Weight Watchers meets at Beth Or each Thursday at 10:00 a.m. through June 5, 2014. 

 

New members should arrive by 9:45 to sign up and plan to stay about 20 minutes after the class to get their program introduction.

Yard Sale Success!

We added well over $5000 to Beth Or's coffers this past week......well done, everyone! 

And we're not finished yet! 

Our second big sale day is Sunday, May 25, with items available that were not displayed on the first sale day!

We need our helpers again on Saturday to unbox, sort, and display these items as well as to freshen up the displays from the first sale.  We'll begin at 9:00 a.m.   Whenever you can join us, if only for an hour or so, your help will be much appreciated. 



Chit Chat
  
Chit Chat meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 at the Temple. 

We've picked up several interesting articles from reputable sources -- BBC News and the New York Times among them -- and we're ready to launch into topics of local, national and international interest with a distinctly Jewish approach.  We talk about cultural, legal, educational, social, political, religious and secular subjects, with a text usually from the media to start us off.
 
Now that we are back at the Temple, there's always room for one more, so please don't hesitate.  If you're available, so are we.

Change in Temple Office Hours

No more having to remember on which days the office opens at 9:00 or at 10:00!

Effective immediately, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the TBO Office will open at 9:00 a.m and close at 1:00.   On Wednesday, the office will open at approximately noon, following Chit Chat, and close at 3:00 p.m.

H&G joins county-wide efforts to eradicate the invasive holly tree, an aggressive intruder into SE Florida's habitat which produces countless seedlings.

 

Over the past three years TBO has cut down the established trees and worked with our NW neighbor to do the same.  Recently we did a

'campus-wide sweep' uprooting many plants in various stages of growth.

Notice our safety improvements including new traffic arrows and lines along Galloway, and some asphalt repairs.
